organic crystal

“organic crystal” is really more of a sculpture than a painting, though in truth the concept is one of a three dimensional painting, without a traditional frame. using silicone adhesive, the pieces of glass are fixed together in a strong, yet flexible manner. none of the clean edges of a pane of glass, hence “organic,” yet all of the pure, hard, reflective surface of glass, hence “crystal.” this stereograph representation captures the depth of the work.
